A platform under construction
The flooring on the three wagons was peel and stick vinyl tile. Care was taken to ensure a clean pattern match at the join between units and precise cuts at the edges of the platform.
The set included three wagon and wall units that were held together with low voltage electromagnets to allow for a quick release and transition. I wired the magnets to a central switch panel, power supply, and timer unit.
A drafting to show the components of the electrical system powering the magnets. Power was run through a shutoff timer, into a 12v power supply, and to individual switches to allow for zone control of the platform and flat connections at either side of the unit.
